Jamie Godbey

Assistant Coach

Jamie has spent a lifetime as an avid outdoorsman, with a deep love and respect for firearms. He introduced his own children to hunting and shooting, sharing safety, responsibility, and enjoyment along the way. In 2016 he began attending practices with his kids after they joined the local 4-H shooting club, and it quickly became a passion to watch young shooters learn and grow. Jamie earned his 4-H certification as a volunteer coach and became a Level One NSCA coach in 2018. Today he continues to mentor new shooters in firearm safety and target shooting, proud to help develop the next generation.

Trust the coaches

Our coaches spend every practice learning how each shooter learns best. When it comes to squadding, station placement, or competition lineups, they are balancing safety, skill development, and team logistics across three programs and multiple disciplines. Trusting their judgment lets your shooter grow with confidence.

Stay Connected

Team updates come by email and text. Notifications go out when practice is cancelled, the schedule changes because of weather, or squads need adjustment. A quick reply keeps your shooter on the right squad and ready to compete, and helps the whole team stay on the same page.

Give back

Fundraising and volunteer time are what keep membership affordable for every family. Whether you help sell raffle tickets, volunteer at practice pulling targets, join a range clean-up day, or lend a hand at a tournament, your contribution directly lowers costs and builds the community your shooter is growing up in.

Stay adaptable

Clay target shooting teaches patience, resilience, and grace under pressure. Squads and pairings change from match to match, so embracing that flexibility helps kids focus on their own progress, support new teammates, and find success anywhere on the line.
